How to share your Claude Code stats on X, LinkedIn and your README

Turn your Claude Code usage into a receipt and post it: a pre-filled post for X, LinkedIn, a download-ready image, a README badge and an embeddable card.

People like seeing how much they build with AI, and a good stat travels. Here is how to turn your Claude Code usage into something you can post, and what each sharing option does.

Get your receipt

  1. Sign in with your email and pick a handle.
  2. Run npx showmytokens login in a terminal. It opens your browser to approve the connection, then offers to add two Claude Code hooks so the receipt stays current by itself. Say no and nothing is installed; run npx showmytokens sync whenever you want to refresh.
  3. Open your receipt at showmytokens.com/your-handle.

Only Claude Code is supported for now. Other tools are coming later.

Share it

Every receipt page has a row of share buttons:

Put it in your README or portfolio

A badge for a GitHub README, which links back to your receipt:

Or embed the whole live card on a portfolio site:

<iframe src="https://showmytokens.com/your-handle/embed" width="740" height="420" style="border:0;max-width:100%" loading="lazy" title="Claude Code stats"></iframe>

Both update on their own as your numbers change. The page also gives you ready-to-copy versions with your handle filled in.

What people can see

Your receipt shows daily counts, never what you worked on. The tool uploads message and session counts, token totals per model and the hours you are active. It does not send prompts, replies, code, file names or paths. See what Claude Code stores and what gets uploaded and the privacy policy.

If you would rather not be ranked, turn off Show me on the leaderboard on your receipt page. You can also delete everything with Delete my data.

Tips for a post that lands
